”The mentoring methods and contents Academy9 provided were revolutionary. Originally, my understanding of job searching was limited to resume sending. I was doubtful when I first learned about concepts such as "elevator pitch", "networking" and "body language" because these were areas I never had a chance to learn about. Now that one year has passed, when I look back, I feel the things I learned from Academy9 not only helped me open doors to big fours, but will also benefit me in any workplace in the future. "

"In the job-seeking marathon, Academy 9 has not only helped me gain clarity in career planning and improve significantly in interview, networking, and communication but also offered constant encouragement and affirmation while I was down or confused. "

“Nick has been my mentor for over a year now. I met him when I graduated from college and entered the MSA program at Bentley University. At that time, I was anxious about my study and was struggling (the struggle started from 3 years ago). During our first meeting, Nick customized a plan for me which included periodical goals for the next 6 months based on my concerns. His logical thinking, confidence attitude, and professionalism gave me great confidence and comfort in job searching. Soon after that meeting, I signed the 3-month training program contract with him. However, after 2 months, I was stressed out due to my heavy workload at school and wanted to give up. Nick could have ignored my feelings and walk away since the problem stemmed from my personal issue and was not related to our training. However, he invited me for lunch, talked with me to understand the situation and helped me sort out the dilemma I faced. He suggested for the duration of the training program, focus on the learning process and the potential instead of on insecurity and the negative feeling of “lacking”. Nick understood that I was eager to rebuild myself in Boston and just needed a boost in confidence, and his support was vital for me at that time. I decided to give a try and to my surprise, things were gradually going on the right track - I felt more at ease at school and successfully went through my first year at Bentley. “

I am grateful that during the tough time I not only received professional training and psychological support from Nick, but also learned from his persistence, diligence, and people skills. I’m sure that he would be a great mentor in your life to make you a better person and reach a future that you dream of.
